unique file name to the file the user uploads

Hello,

is it possible to remove this automatic file name extension?
My files to upload are named PDF-001, PDF-002, .......
After upload they are renamed to PDF-001_1.pdf
I would like to have it like the original. Is it possible to change the "code"

Hello,
no, at the moment it is not possible, it's a security measure, otherwise if you upload a file having the same name of an existent file, the old one would be overwritten.
