Terms and Conditions for self registration

With the following settings:-

$enable_users_self_registration = 1;
$show_accept_terms_privacy_checkbox_registration_form = 1;

a link is shown on the registration page to a file called example_terms.html, will this file be overwritten with future upgrades? If so how do you point to your own file??

Hi,
you can just point the link to a different (custom) file by changing the translation in your custom language file.

As site is in English have never had to look at custom language files
