Images are not displayed

Hello
After an upgrade from 8.2 to 10.6 the images are no longer displayed. Instead an icon is displayed.
The upload directory is the default directory /DDB/uploads.
The name of the file in the edit page (e.g. 0001.jpg) can be found in this directory.
The field type in the forms configurator is image_file.
All permissions are granted.

I received the following solution after sending a mail to DaDaBik;

the file config_custom.php contained empty lines after ?>.
This caused the problem. After removing them, it was OK.
I don't see how these blanc lines can cause that phenomenon but the problem is solved, that the important thing.
