HTTP ERROR 500 during installation

DaDaBik:: V7 Enterprise Edition
Browser: Chrome, Version 64.0.3282.167 
OS: MacOSC High Sierra, Version 10.13.1
DBMS: Postgresql 10.1
Webserver: Apache 2.4.2.9

I am following the instructions for installating Dadabik and have edited the config.php file as required but on running the installation, I get the following error message:

127.0.0.1 is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

I have also reset my local computer as server and rerun this several times but still having the same error message.

Hello,
error 500 is a generic error message you should look at the Apache error log and see the actual error message.

Is the database very big in terms of number of tables? One common reason for this error during the installation is the amount of time required, which can be high if you have a lot of tables in your DB.
