HELP with upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version (2.2.1) but I keep getting errors (just about everywhere)

How do I actually upgrade to the new version? Do I just upload all the new files or do actually have to 'install' again.
I haven't yet tried to re-install cuz I'm afraid all the data in my dbase will be wiped out.

Can someone shed a little light on this??

Have you followed the instructions in update_to_2.2.1.txt?

after unzipping the dadabik_2.2.1.zip file it is located in dadabik_2.2.1 directory, file name is update_to_2.2.1.txt

Thanks Mitch and Eugenio for all your help.. My problem was I was using the beta version of 221.. I just downloaded the program and everything is great Thanks again the 2 of you...
