User Details - additional fields

Is it possible to add additional fields to 'users' or would it be best to create another table 'user-details' and link the two groups? I would like to have a user be able to add something like phone number etc and be able to update the details.

Hello,
yes, you can treat the dadabik_users table as another table, add your fields to the table (don't change existing fields) and synch the table.
For the dadabik_users and dadabik_groups table, you cannot use the DATA tab in admin, you have to add fields using an external admin tool such as phpmyadmin or similar.

I suggest a backup before doing this operation.

Just need a hint:

Is it possible to get access for non-admin users to see and edit their (own) user-account?

I tried to set permissions for the admin table dadabik_users, but it have no affect for non-admins
