You are right. From my point of view it was a brilliant feature. I never noticed any wrong results and wildcards like % and _ are commonly used on the net (libraries). Thanks for the explanation.

Well for instance I have a database with a lot of names, including 1069 "Jens" and 303 "Hans". When I search contains "Jens OR Hans", nothing returns. The database also has 6 "Peter Andersen". When I search contains "Peter AND Andersen", nothing returns.

I have used % for several letters and _ for one letter. "Pe_er" can give Peter and Peder (same name in danish, but alternatively spelled) "%ristian" can give Christian and Kristian (same name in danish, but alternatively spelled) Examples are legio when working with names in databases.

I used to put wildcards into my "contains" searches in earlier versions of Dadabik. It seems not to function any more. Solutions?
