Format text in your posts

I did not realize that the forums here had this feature until now.

You can use 'BBCode' like code to format text in your posts. Use square brackets [, ] instead of the round (, ) ones.

E.g.

Bold - (b)Bold(/b)
Italics - (i)Italics(/i)
Underlined - (u)Underlined(/u)

CNN - (url=http://www.cnn.com)CNN(/url)

Centered
- (center)Centered(/center)

- (quote)A quote(/quote)

logo04.gif
- (img)http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/shared/img/logo04.gif(/img)
[pre]Computer code[/pre] - (code)Computer code(/code)

Yes, but that will be lost because of formatting. I changed my first post. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hi all,
I realize that code (and maybe other tags) cause problems with word wrap, so that the user need to scroll the page horizontally in order to read the post; this is annoying so please preview your posts before posting.

Bye,
