charset extension and directional support in Dadabik

I'd like to create a barter-system database for a non-profit organization I am involved with. I am a php and mysql newbie (but I am sure I can learn to use it). the Dadabik system is exactly what I've been looking for (since it enable end users to handle their own entries).

The main problem is the language: the db should be in Hebrew (which invokes both charset AND directionality problems, as I understand it).

Is there a solution for both (in the current version)? If not, is will there be a solution for it in future versions?

Charset and (reading?) directionality can be set in header.php inside the head tag. But I've never tested it properly. Did you already set up the db? Can you provide a link to see it in action?
