Show different select_single options based on which group the user belongs to

As you can read from the title, I was wondering if it was possible to show different select_single options based on which group belongs the user who is inserting or modifying the record.

Hello,
if the field is a lookup field, you can do it using row level custom filters or the ownership permissions, but they are available on Enterprise/Platinum only.
