User-friendly searchable for multiple menu and quick search

Behaviour like this:

A field with a select_multiple_menu and a look-up table (containing 21.000 entries), settings are user-friendly searchable = YES, use AJAX = YES

Quick search is show without the possibility to enter a sign

this is the expected behaviour, typically you want to search for records having the element(s) you are selecting in the field; do you see other typical use cases for this field type?

it is not possible for me to do a quick search, I cannot select (or type) any elements.
