Public frontend for Dadabik

Dadabik has served us well as a data entry front-end, now we want to
offer limited information to the general public w/o having to log on to the website.

How do dadabik users generally approach making limited dadabik data available to the public?

Please advise

I've modified config.php and added a public user name and a public user group
to the users and groups tables.

I gave public user and the public group view rights to the home page.

Still though the site asks for a password.

Did I miss any steps?

Please advise

Do you mean assigning different home pages to different users? No, the homepage is the same for everybody.

You can, of course, use a custom PHP page as home page and redirect users to different pages from there, but you have to write some code.
